GFL Environmental Arena

The GFL Environmental Arena is the smaller of two arenas inside the Canada Games Park facility, with seating for 200 fans. During the fall and winter months, the GFL Environmental Arena (similar to the Algoma Central Arena) is home to the Brock University Badgers Men's and Women's Varsity hockey teams and frequently used for practices.

During the spring and summer seasons, the ice-pad will have lacrosse and other dryland sport artifical turf installed and the facility is the home for the St. Catharines Minor Lacrosse Association and the St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics Lacrosse leagues.

The GFL Environmental Arena mirrors the Algoma Central Arena in its para-sport capability. The ice-pad has been constructed below the surrounding floor level, to ensure that spectators in wheelchairs can easily watch the action, without their view being obstructed by the rink-boards. This design

GFL Environmental is the proud sponsor of this arena in addition to the outdoor track, bike centre, south entrance, parking lot, landscaping and street-sweeping, and bike racks.

Non-Prime-time is Monday- Friday 7am-5pm
Daily rates are available for bookings that are eight (8) hours or more
