Algoma Central Arena

The Algoma Central Arena is the largest arena in the Canada Games Park facility, with seating for 1200 fans.

The Algoma Central Arena is home to the Brock University Badgers: men's and women's varsity hockey teams, Brock University Jr Badgers, Niagara North Stars AAA Hockey Association, Thorold Blackhawks, and the Niagara Sport and Social Club.

During the spring and summer seasons, the ice-pad switches over to turf or dry-floor for lacrosse and other dryland sports. The facility is the official home to the St. Catharines Minor Lacrosse Association and the St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics Lacrosse leagues.

The Algoma Central Arena is additionally para-sport compatible! The ice-rink has the capability to host sledge hockey games and tournaments, as the ice-pad has been constructed below the surrounding floor level so spectators in wheelchairs can easily watch the action, without their view being obstructed by the rink-boards.

Algoma Central Corp is the proud sponsor of this arena, and the second floor viewing/media box. Algoma has called Niagara home for over 50 years and are thrilled to partner with this state-of-the-art facility in their own backyard.

Daily rates are available for bookings that are eight (8) hours or more
